11:00 a.m.: Event begins

Registration, sponsor and vendors booths open to guests

12:15 - 12:45 p.m.: Dachshund Race for Rescue*
Dachshunds eligible to enter free with a registered Walk for Old Dogs participant to compete in these categories:
  • Pro (having placed 1st through 4th in any Dachshund Race for Rescue sanctioned race)
  • Novice (new to racing or has not place high enough to qualify for Pro)
  • Old Dog Haven alumnus (Final Refuge, adoptee, temporary foster all qualify; also eligible to race in Pro or Novice categories)

*It is recommended each racing Dachshund come equipped with two people - one to release and one to catch.

  • Top 3 best tricks
  • Top 3 best begging faces

2:00 p.m.: Recognition of 2018 Walk for Old Dogs fundraising superstars
  • Top 3 individual fundraisers
  • Top 3 team fundraisers

2:15 p.m. The Walk for Old Dogs
